The present situation of strawberry production in Yuxi city was briefly introduced.Analysis of the existing problems in the production with single variety,seedling technology extensive,lack of standardized cultivation techniques,harvesting and waste comprehensive treatment technology lag behind and so on.Suggestion the countermeasure of production development,such as speeding up the progress of breed selection,establishing high quality seed and seedling breeding base,promoting high quality and efficient production technology,improving strawberry harvesting standards,extending the industrial chain were put forward.It was expected to provide reference for the development of strawberry production in Yuxi.
