试论毛泽东的阅读推广观

On Mao Zedong’s View of Reading Promotion

毛泽东曾担任过北大图书馆助理馆员,他酷爱读书,终身与书籍形影不离,既是阅读的实践者,又是阅读的倡导者。毛泽东一生热心进行阅读推广,并在实践中形成了具有特点的方式和方法。他注重提高民众的读书兴趣,推广终身学习的理念;他通过书信、讲话等方式进行图书推荐,树立了读书的方向标;同时,他创办的图书馆和书社也为传播新文化新思想做出了巨大贡献。

Mao Zedong once served as an assistant librarian in Peking University Library.He loved reading and was inseparable from books all his life.Mao Zedong devoted his whole life to reading promotion,and formed characteristic ways and methods in practice.He focused on improving people’s interest in reading and promoting the concept of lifelong learning.He recommended books by letters and speeches,and set up the direction of reading.At the same time,the library and publishing house he founded also made great contributions to the dissemination of new culture and new ideas.
