Along the Polar Silk Road--Development of the transport networks in permafrost regions of northeastern Russia

Based on the Polar Silk Road,it explains the scale of the existing transport networks and the conditions of transportation in the northeastern of Russia.Allocation of city nodes and resources on each transportation route.The resource potential of Siberia and the Far East of global importance is presented.While developing resources in these areas,they also promote the development of local transportation systems.In particular,the development of some industrial development areas of the Republic of Sakha(Yakutia)will be a prerequisite for the construction of railroads in the northwestern direction of Yakutsk.The completion of these railroads will also provide better connections with the“Northern Pass”of Siberia and Eastern Siberia.In this variant of the development of the network,it becomes possible to connect the European and Asian transport systems.
