The development characteristics and targets of emerging engineering disciplines development have been introduced.The reform measures of new engineering education transformation in Massachusetts Institute of Technology have been analyzed.The updating explorations of talents training,course offering,engineering practical conditions and teaching staffs have been investigated based on material major in Wuxi Institute of Technology.These major constructions will provide beneficial reference for cultivating the talents majored in material forming and control technology in higher vocation institute under the background of emerging engineering disciplines.
