摘要
语言文化类校本课程是大学英语课程体系的重要补充,也是提升非英语专业学生人文素养的重要途径。本文以新疆农业大学229名非英语专业大学英语课程学习者为调查对象,采用问卷调查从学生的背景、学生对课程的情感态度,以及学生的课程需求和兴趣爱好等方面做了较为针对性的调查,后通过对比分析得出相关结论,并结合分析对本校语言文化类校本课程设置给出建议。研究发现我校大部分学生认为开设语言文化类课程非常有必要,且对该类型课程有兴趣;学生最希望开设的课程类型为艺术类、中国传统文化类和文学类;在课程期待方面,学生最关注教师的专业背景知识,授课水平和课堂管理能力,比较倾向于线上、线下混合授课,希望教师能够创新授课方式,采用多媒体等现代教育技术辅助教学。
School-based courses in language and culture are an important supplement to the university Eng⁃lish course system and an important way to improve the humanistic qualities of non-English majors.In this pa⁃per,229 non-English majors in Xinjiang Agricultural University were surveyed,and a questionnaire was used to investigate the students'background,their emotional attitude towards the course,and their needs and inter⁃ests in the course.The study found that the majority of students in our school believe that it is necessary to of⁃fer language and culture courses,and they are interested in Artistic,Chinese traditional culture and Literature.The students are most concerned about the teachers'professional background knowledge,teaching level and classroom management ability.
