Based on Darwin’s theory of evolution,memetics provides special theoretical interpretations for the dissemination of Dong traditional culture in the west.Memes follow the natural law and experience five steps:dissemination,assimilation,memorization,expression and re-dissemination.In order to adapt to western cultural environment,Dong cultural memes adopt various strategies of adaptation and variation such as replication and abridgement.
