"子鼎新冠"是以491X为母本,298X为父本杂交选育的中果型西瓜新品种。全生育期82~88 d,坐瓜节位在主蔓14~16节,植株生长势中等,果实高圆形,果皮绿覆墨绿色条带,肉色红,皮厚1 cm,质地酥脆可口,风味佳,中心可溶性固形物含量12%,单瓜质量4.5 kg,667 m^(2)产量4 t。适宜在新疆地区露地和小拱棚栽培。

‘Zidingxinguan’is a new mid-fruit watermelon variety bred by crossing 491 X as female parent and 298 X as male parent.The growth period is about 82-88 days.Average seat melon section in the main cross section 14-16 or so.The growth potential is medium.Its fruit type is high round.The peal is green in color with greenish black stripes.The bright red flesh is crisp and delicious.The center sugar content is 12%.The thickness of peel is 1 cm.The single fruit weight is about 4.5 kg,and the yield per 667 m^(2) is about 4 t.It is suitable for small shed and open field cultivate in all parts of Xinjiang.
