基于MOOC的远程开放教育外语教学模式研究

Research on English Teaching Model in Distance and Open Education based on MOOC

MOOC的优质资源,名校+名师的效应,为远程开放教育外语教学带来了机遇和挑战。本研究首先分析了远程开放外语教学为何可以借力于MOOC资源,然后构建了基于MOOC资源的三种教学模式:MOOC课程校本化、MOOC资源和教师自制资源的耦合、基于MOOC资源的二次开发模式,并进行了教学实践。实践结果表明:该模式很大程度上发挥了MOOC资源在远程开放外语教学模式中的意义,让教师和学生的角色和态度均发生了变化,得到了学生的认可,获得了较好的教学效果。同时也提出了三个不足之处和建议。

MOOC’s high-quality resources from the prestigious schools and famous teachers constitute opportunities and challenges to English teaching in distance and open education. The paper firstly analyzes the reasons for MOOC incorporated into English teaching in distance and open education, and constructs three teaching models based on MOOC: school-based Moocs,combination of Mooc resources and school resources, redevelopment of Mooc resources. Besides, a teaching experiment was conducted as well. The results showed that this model gave full play to the MOOC incorporated into English teaching in distance and open education, teachers’ and students’ role and attitude have greatly changed, the students were satisfied and good teaching effects were achieved. Three weaknesses and suggestions are also put forward.
