Detroit Diesel series 60 is the standard engine of AHV364 vibrator,it is the power source of the vibrator hydraulic system.Because of vibrator heavy load,so after a certain period of use,there will be some trouble with the engine inevitably.Specific common failures are white smoke from chimneys,and black smoke from chimneys,and blue smoke from chimneys,and coolant getting into oil,and spraying oil from oil dipstick and valve chamber cover seals.Referring to the engine structure principle and working principle,and combined with practical experience,this paper summarizes and analyzes in details the common faults of the AHV364 vibrator Detroit Diesel series 60,and gives the method of troubleshooting and the maintenance recommendations for peers'troubleshooting.
