Fault Analysis and Maintenance of Multi-Leaf Grating in Varian Medical Linear Accelerator

本文通过分析瓦里安医用直线加速器多叶光栅基本结构,详细分析了多叶光栅的工作过程,对叶片卡住故障、超误差故障及叶片组碰撞故障进行了详细的原理分析,在维修过程中通过细致地测试马达电流,处理光学线性编码器及软电位器,较好地解决了多叶光栅故障。此次三个故障实例涵盖了多叶光栅典型的常见和特殊故障,为同行处理此类加速器故障提供借鉴经验。

This paper analyzed the working process of the multi-blade grating in detail by analyzing the basic structure of the multi-leaf grating of varian medical linear accelerator,and the blade stuck fault,over-error fault and blade group collision fault were also analyzed in detail.The motor current was carefully tested,the optical linear encoder and soft potentiometer were also well checked,finally the multi leaf grating fault was solved.The three fault examples cover the typical common and special faults of multi-leaf gratings,and provide reference for the accelerator to deal with the same fault.
