左世元所著《汉冶萍公司与政府关系研究》一书,系统地论述了汉冶萍公司58年发展历程中与晚清政府、日本政府、南京临时政府、袁世凯政府、国民党政府、地方官绅之间的利益关系,重点阐述了中日合办汉冶萍公司案。此书一经推出便弥补了学界对汉冶萍公司与各类政府的利益关系研究的不足,该书的学术贡献颇大,现实意义亦不小;但该书也存在一些不足,相关领域仍有进一步研究的空间。

Zuo Shiyuan's Book Research on the Relationship between Hanyeping Company and the Government systematically discusses the interest relationship between Hanyeping company and the late Qing government,Japanese government,Nanjing Provisional Government,Yuan Shikai government,Kuomintang government,and the local officials and gentry in the 58-year development of Hanyeping Company,focusing on the case of Sino-Japanese joint establishment of Hanyeping Company.The book fills the gap of academic research on the interest relationship between Hanyeping Company and"all kinds of"governments.It is of great academic contribution and practical significance.However,there is still some room for further research.
