《古柏图》断代及流传考

A Textual Research on the Dating and Spread of The Painting of Ancient Cypress

针对《古柏图》,依鉴藏印考其自明成化至晚清的有序流传,依构图脉络查其缺失,依笔墨特征及画纸诸因素断其年代为南宋时期,依构图及技法断出此图出自中原及以北地域的宫廷画家之手,并析出此《古柏图》正是嵩阳书院的相传被汉武帝所封的"大将军柏"南宋时期的写照。

According to the collector’s seals, The Painting of Ancient Cypress was proved to be orderly inherited and transmitted from Chenghua in Ming Dynasty to late Qing Dynasty. Its defects were identified based on the compositional context. And from the perspective of characteristics of brush and ink and the texture of painting tissue, it was concluded to be a piece of work of the Southern Song Dynasty. Furthermore, it was determined that the painting came from the palace painters in the Central Plains and the north region according to the painting compositional context and techniques. Specifically, it could be a portrayal of "the cypress of great general" in Songyang Academy from the Southern Song Dynasty, which was granted by Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty.
