咸同兵燹冲击下的宗族生活及其重建——以绩溪南关许氏宗族为中心

Clan Life and Its Reconstruction under the Shock of the War Havoc under the Reigns of Xianfeng and Tongzhi:Taking the Xu Clan in Jixi Nanguan as the Center

咸同兵燹给绩溪南关许氏宗族的社会生活、经济生活、伦理生活、文化生活等造成了巨大冲击。兵后,许氏宗族着手重建,开展了重修宗谱、修建祠堂、兴复祠产、完备家法、整顿礼俗、复兴会社、维护茔墓、新建义仓等一系列活动。许氏宗族个案显示:咸同兵燹对宗族生活影响深远,诸多宗族生活一度中断,难以全面恢复昔日的盛况;但在官府支持与宗族举力重建之下,那些体现宗法传统和精神理念的宗族生活得到了及时修复、延续甚至是加强,然而从中难以感受到适应时代变革的气息。宗族生活的重建实态,显示了徽州乡村社会的宗法性品格。

The War Havoc under the Reigns of Xianfeng and Tongzhi had a great shock on the social,economic,ethical and cultural life.After the war,the Xu clan carried out a series of reconstruction activities.The example of the Xu clan shows that the War Havoc under the Reigns of Xianfeng and Tongzhi had a bad impact on many clans life,making it difficult to restore the former prosperity fully.However,with the government’s support and the clan’s efforts,the clan life which reflects the patriarchal tradition and spiritual idea has been repaired,continued and even strengthened in time,but that did not adapt to the development of the times.The reconstruction of clan life shows the patriarchal character of Huizhou rural society.
