This paper introduces the cutting and shapping compound cutter block of three types,which are fixed,floating and one-piece cutting edge,and compares its advantages and disadvantages.The analysis and comparison shown that these three kinds of cutters with their certain limitations and only can be adapted to the characteristic working area.In the early stage of development,it is necessary to make reasonable choices according to the requirements of parts specificity and precision.
