This paper summarized the pathogenesis of osteoporosis caused by Graves’ disease, pathogenesis of traditional Chinese medicine and thyroid-related hormones and bone metabolism. In this article, we mainly summarized the exact therapeutic effect of iodine-rich herbs on Graves’ disease and then concluded the research literature on its related mechanisms, to explore the treatment of osteoporosis caused by Graves’ disease with iodine-rich herbs, in order to provide theoretical basis and ideas for future research.
