摘要
对行思的记述在各文本当中历来不一。在南宗禅初期(至少会昌法难以前)文本当中鲜有行思的记载。很明显,行思系处在南宗禅的边缘位置。而从《青原遗碑略记》,我们可以得知,行思已被青原当地尊为七祖。在《祖堂集》与《宋高僧传》的描述中,行思性格朴实敦厚。正是此性格和由此形成的禅法使其形象被“遮蔽”。再至《景德传灯录》,行思形象之记述已最为详尽,但其中出现增加材料以及刻意删移希迁传记材料至行思传记的情况。通过这种途径,行思最终被塑造为派系创始人和教化者的形象。
The images of Xingsi in the texts vary.At the beginning of Nanzong Zen(at least before Huichang calamity)text,there is no record of Xingsi.It is clear that the system of Xingsi is at the edge of Nanzong Zen.From the note of Qingyuan heritage monument,we can learn that Xingsi has been considered as a progenitor of seven in Qingyuan.From the Zutangji and the Song Biographies of Eminent Monks,we can see that his character is sincere and honest.This character and his med Nation make him “obscured”.In the Ching-te Records of Transmission of the Lamp,the description of Xingsi's image is the most detailed,but the Hterature adds material and deliberately moves the material from biographies of Xiqian to Xingsi.It eventually makes Xingsi as a founder and civilizer.
