现代化作为一个世界性现象,道路和模式各一,不同国家处理本土因素和外来因素的方式决定了现代化的速度和路径。为了实现传统乡土中国的现代化,中国共产党一以贯之地以制度变革和结构转型来实现中国式现代化。从以新民主主义制度促进农业国的转型、社会主义制度和计划经济体制推进国家工业化、社会主义市场体制改革推进中国式现代化到习近平新时代中国特色社会主义制度体系建设社会主义现代化强国,中国共产党以非凡的组织和领导特性,基于超大人口规模基本国情,以人民为中心,走出了一条具有中国特色的社会主义现代化道路。实现建设现代化强国的第二个百年目标,关键在于解决全面现代化中的重大难题、实现人的全面发展和共同富裕、以现代化国家建构实现治理能力和治理体系现代化。

As a worldwide phenomenon, modernization has different paths and modes. The way different countries deal with domestic and external factors determines the speed and path of modernization. In order to realize the modernization of traditional rural China, the Communist Party of China has consistently realized the Chinese style modernization through system reform and structural transformation, from promoting the transformation of agricultural countries with the new democratic system, to driving national industrialization through the socialist system and the planned economic system, to advancing China’s modernization by the socialist market economy system reform, and to building a modern socialist country through the socialist system with Chinese characteristics in Xi Jinping’s new era. The success of Chinese modernization lies in the fact that the Communist Party of China has embarked on a path of socialist modernization with Chinese characteristics, with extraordinary organizational and leadership characteristics of the Communist Party of China, based on the basic national conditions of a large population and in a people-centered way. To achieve the second Centennial goal of building a great modern country, the key lies in solving the major problems in comprehensive modernization, realizing people’s all-round development and common prosperity, and modernizing governance capacity and the governance system with the construction of a modern country.
