摘要
In recent years,China has been actively building a mechanism to finance the Belt and Road Initiative(BRI),favoring a multilateral approach. This includes policy-oriented,developmental and commercial loans supplemented by investment funds and securities issuance,private-public partnerships(PPPs),mutually beneficial cooperation between China and the countries along the Belt and Road, and international financial institutions. However,BRI financing is confronted with the challenges such as high default risks, lack of standardization in financing practices, excessive risks assumed by Chinese state-owned financial institutions.
