摘要
In 2013,during his visits to Kazakhstan and Indonesia,President Xi Jinping put forward a proposal comprising the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road Initiative(the“Belt and Road Initiative”or BRI).Within this context,international student education in China has become increasingly important,as cultural exchanges serve as a bridge for communications among people of different locales in the course of implementing the BRI:Education,after all,provides intellectual support for connectivity in policy,infrastructure,trade,and finance.This study discusses how to develop international student education in China,so as to better serve the BRI.
