While presiding over the 18th group study session of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee,General Secretary Xi Jinping delivered a visionary and thought-provoking address,in which he emphasized the importance of facilitating blockchain de-velopment and industrial innovation-a hotspot issue in information technology.He also laid out the blockchain development blueprint to navigate China’s future efforts.Meanwhile,he emphasized the significance of an objective and dialectical attitude toward innovative technology,which he regarded as a double-edged sword.To ensure the secure and orderly development of blockchain technology,it is imperative to guide and regulate the blockchain develop-ment,study and analyze risks,enhance industrial discipline,strengthen accountability in security issues,and promote law-based blockchain governance.
