国内商务英语专业课程设置研究进展与趋势(2000-2019)——基于文献计量分析视角 被引量:1

摘要 采用CNKI数据库自带的可视化分析工具和文献可视化分析工具CiteSpace对国内近二十年(2000—2019年)的商务英语专业课程设置研究文献进行量化分析和可视化呈现,通过考察发文量、发文作者和机构、高被引文献和关键词共现发现:(1)发文量随着专业的不断发展而增长,达到峰值后逐渐下降但仍维持在一个较高的水平;(2)发文作者和机构呈现出相似的分布特点,即没有特定的作者和机构在发文数量上占绝对优势;(3)高被引文献主要来自核心期刊,但选取的423篇文章总体上质量不是很高;(4)研究的热点领域主要集中在商务英语教学、商务英语人才培养、高职商务英语教育、商务英语学科定位、商务英语现状调查等;(5)研究发展历程大致分为起步探索阶段、繁荣发展阶段和持续发展阶段,每个阶段在发文量上都有所差异,但后两个阶段在研究热点分布上较为相似。在未来商务英语专业课程设置的研究中,应围绕《普通高等学校本科专业类教学质量国家标准(外国语言文学类)》和《普通高校本科外国语言文学类专业教学指南》(试行)进行追踪研究、增加定量分析和扩大研究样本以及结合社会需求和教学改革热点开展研究,以提升商务英语专业课程设置研究的水平,更好地助力我国商务英语专业的发展。 In this study,the visualized analysis tools provided by CNKI database and CiteSpace are used to conduct a quantitative analysis and visual presentation of the literature on curriculum design for business English major in recent 20 years(2000-2019)in China.The following findings are uncovered after a close examination of the publication volume,authors and institutions,high citation references and cooccurrence of key words:(1)The volume of publications increases with the development of the business English major,and declines gradually after reaching a peak,but still remains at a relatively high level;(2)the authors and institutions show a similar distribution characteristic,that is,no author or institution has an absolute advantage in the volume of publications;(3)the high citation references are mainly from core journals,but the selected 423 articles are not of high quality in general;(4)the research focuses on business English teaching,business English talent cultivation,business English education at higher vocational level,business English disciplinary orientation,survey of business English status quo,etc;(5)the development history of research can be divided into three stages which include initial exploration,prosperous development and continuous development,with differences in the volume of publications in each stage but similarities in the distribution of research focuses of the latter two stages.The paper also proposes several suggestions for future studies accordingly,including conducting follow-up studies based on the national standards for business English teaching,increasing quantitative analysis and enlarging samples,and carrying on research concerning social demand for talents and teaching reform,thus improving the research level,which in turn promotes the development of business English major in China.
