The image of workers and the labor movement has always been the left-wing literature narrative focus. However, but as a modern literary writer who speaks for the masses, there are also some distance from real workers experience in reality and narration plight on letting the silent people be heard. A Day in China extricates writers from a difficult position to a certain extent, and completes a new writing in a practical sense. Finally, the silent majority make their own voice. This is a meaningful liberation narrative. In addition to the author’s fiction and imagination,A Day in China presents another kind of workers’ self-image construction, which has both overlap and difference,so as to enrich or correct the connotation of the traditional workers’ narration. The self-speech of workers is also the beginning of self-awareness. From the perspective of liberation intention, from being endorsed to taking the initiative to make a voice,it is also an important step in the pursuit of complete liberation. The voice of the silent is no longer suppressed, and this voice also forms a kind of dialogue relationship with the existing order of literary writing.
