范礽与清初白鹿洞书院考述

On the Relation Between Fan Reng and Bailudong Academy in Early Qing Dynasty

清顺治末期,江西南康府推官会稽人范礽兼任白鹿洞书院洞主。范礽主洞时多有作兴之举,先后主持增补明嘉靖桑乔《庐山纪事》和天启李应昇《白鹿书院志》,恢复洞学科举等。范礽兴修书院既是明清鼎革后政局初定时地方治理的需要,也与范氏出身书香世家有着极大关系。范礽的个案提醒书院研究者在既有史料基础上,应对未曾注意的历史人物加以重新审视,从而不断丰富白鹿洞书院的整体史。

Born in Kuaiji prefecture of Zhejiang province,Fan Reng a judicial official of Nankang prefecture was the part-time dean of Bailudong Academy in the final phase of Emperor Shunzhi in the Qing dynasty.In his term of duty,Fan Reng attempted to renovate the academy,e.g.he took charge of supplementing Lushan Chronicles compiled by Sang Qiao in Emperor Jiajing’s reign and Annals of Bailudong Academy by Li Yingsheng in Emperor Tianqi’s reign of the Ming dynasty and resumed the imperial examination at Bailudong.His renovation of the academy was done out of the need of the local governance after the dynastic changes on the one hand;on the other,it was greatly related to the fact that he was born and bred in a literary family.Fan Ren’s case reminds academy researchers to re-examine the historical figures they have ignored on the basis of existing historical materials,with a view to continuously enriching the overall history of Bailudong Academy.
