Transition from the Heroic Conception of History to the People’s Conception of History:A Perspective of the Limitations of Historical Records

英雄史观与人民史观的分歧贯穿于社会历史进程之中,历史记录作为人们认识和理解历史的最主要途径,是社会史观形成的重要影响因素。从历史记录的视角看,英雄史观的形成及其盛行与历史记录的局限性关系密切,这种局限性具体表现在记录形成、内容叙事方式选择与留传过程三个方面,成为一定时期内英雄史观占据社会史观主流、人民史观居于边缘地位的重要原因。

The divergence between the Heroic Conception and the People’s Conception of History runs through the development process of social history.As the most important way for people to recognize and understand history,historical records are an important factor in the formation of history creation views.From the perspective of historical records,the formation and prevalence of the Heroic Conception of History are closely related to the limitations of historical records.It is embodied in three limitations including the formation of records,the selection of narrative modes of records contents,and the preservation and communication of records.Accordingly,these limitations cause the Heroic Conception of History to be the mainstream,and the People’s Conception of History to be marginalized.
