The paper discusses the common origin,development and mutual blending of Chinese painting and ceramic painting in different historical periods.Based on this,the paper discusses the similarities and differences between the characteristics of techniques,forms of expression and the pursuit of artistic conception as well as the origin of the two different artistic categories.Finally,it looks forward to the bright prospect of mutual learning and development between ceramic art and traditional Chinese painting art.
