媒介环境学视域下宋词“隔”与“不隔”的成因探析

An Analysis of the Causes of"Ge"and"Buge"in Song Ci from the Perspective of Media Ecology

宋词从"不隔"到"隔"的变迁历程与传播媒介的转型有关。五代宋初的词以歌妓作为主要传播媒介,口头传播的即时性决定了宋词不能运用过于繁复隐晦的表达方法,因而在风格上偏向于"不隔"。南宋以降,一方面,歌辞之词已转型为文本之词,纸质媒介比起口传媒介能传达更多的信息,因而在表达上可以更频繁地使用典故、隐喻等修辞手法;另一方面,因印刷术的普及而广为流传的词集、词话、词选又导致了词坛上陈陈相因之风的形成,阻碍了词人的自然感发,从而导致了"隔"的形成。

The change of viewpoint on Song Ci from"Buge"to"Ge"is related to the transformation of the media.The poetry of theFive Dynasties and the early Song Dynasty were orally transmitted by singsong girls as the main media that the immediacy of oralcommunication determined Song Ci not too complicated and obscured in expression,so the style was biased towards"Buge".Sincethe Southern Song Dynasty,on the one hand,the words of songs have been transformed into written texts.Paper media can conveymore information than oral media,so allusions,metaphors and other rhetorical techniques can be used more frequently in expres-sion;on the other hand,because of the popularization of printing,the widely circulated Ci anthologies,Ci reviews and Ci selectionshave led to the formation of obsolete style in the Ci area,which hindered the natural feelings of Ci writers and thus led to the forma-tion of"Ge".
