Academic Research and Scholar Relations:A Research on Writing Process and Spread of The Yin Calendar Chronicle

《殷历谱》是史家董作宾在傅斯年揭橥"古史重建"之后力图解决殷周年代问题、系统探讨殷商文化的创新之作。书成于抗战期间,具有弘扬民族文化的重要意义。董作宾得以著成此书,既源于其身处历史语言研究所"旧域维新"学风中,并亲身参与殷墟发掘、整理了大量新获甲骨资料,又和其受陈遵妫、德效骞等学人帮助,得以在写作中运用近代天文学知识有关。回顾该著所引发的长时间之关注与争论,可见史学知识生产、传播与社会实践之间缠结塑造、互渗共生的复杂图景。

The Yin Calendar Chronicle is an innovative work by the historian Dong Zuobin after Fu Si-nian established the idea of"reconstruction of ancient history",which tries to solve the chronological problems of the Yin-Zhou dynasties and systematically explore the Yin-Shang cultures.The book was completed during the Anti-Japanese War,and is of great significance to promote national culture because of the academic atmosphere of"reform of conventional domains"of the Institute of History and Language,his personal participation in the excavation of Yin Ruins and analysis of oracle bone inscription materials,help from Chen Zungui,De Xiaoqian,et al.,and modern astronomy knowledge applied in his writing.Looking back at the long-term attention and controversy caused by this work,we can see the complex picture of the entangled creation,mutually infiltrated symbiosis between production,dissemination and social practice of historical knowledge.
