Status Quo and Future Prospects of Translation in Science Fiction——A Summit of“Rebuild the Babel of Science Fiction”

回顾过去十年,中国科幻迅速发展崛起,已然成为世界科幻的“蓝海”。把中国科幻提升到世界水平,传递科幻的人文意义和技术启示,科幻翻译承担了最重要的时代使命。翻译不仅是对作品的译介,更是传播未来、创造未来。首届钓鱼城国际科幻翻译大会“再造科幻巴别塔”举办高峰论坛,就科幻翻译的现状与未来展开研讨交流。整场论坛涉及中国科幻翻译研究的现状及展望、中国科幻小说的民族性与国际化、中国科幻在德国和日本的译介与传播等问题,助力科幻翻译黄金时代的深入发展。

Looking back on the past decade,Chinese science fiction has rapidly developed and risen to be the blue ocean of sci⁃ence fiction in the world.Translating science fiction undertakes the significant mission of the times to bring Chinese science fiction to the world and to convey humanistic philosophy and inspirations for technological advances.Translation is more than translating and introducing works.It works to disseminate visions and create future.“Rebuild the Babel of Science Fiction”,the first Fishing Fortress International Science Fiction Translation Convention included a summit to discuss the status quo and future prospects of translation in science fiction.The summit related to the current situation and outlook of studies on translation of Chinese science fiction,national characteristics and internationalization of Chinese science fiction,translation and dissemination of Chinese sci⁃ence fiction in Germany and Japan,among others,in the pursuit of promoting the golden age of translating science fiction.
