The pathogeny of bovine malignant catarrhal fever is bovine malignant catarrhal fever virus.This disease mainly occurs in 1~4 years old young cattle,it affects the production and reproductive performance of cattle and threatens the benefit of cattle breeding.In this paper,the pathogenic characteristics,epidemiology,clinical symptoms,pathological changes,diagnostic methods and control measures of bovine malignant catarrhal fever were summarized.
