Textual Construction and Historical Reconstruction:Stylistic Permeation among Biographies of Wang Shizhen

传记呈现出的往往是传主的生命史,承载着书写者对传主的理解、情感和记忆。“传记”作为一种文类,同一传主的不同传记文体之间不断转化,构成了复杂的互渗关系。传记文体的选择与书写者的身份、地位、个人偏好、特长、生活需求等关系密切。目前搜集到王世贞传60余篇,其中家传、史传与诗传、戏剧传、像传等不同传记文体之间存在着互渗交融的关系。传记书写是书写者从个人视角理解重塑传主历史的过程,书写者对传主的个性化理解、传记文体的不同叙事方式参与了历史重塑,塑造出传主的不同样貌。传记文体的使用主要取决于书写者对传主的理解及对传记文体的擅长程度,不同立场下的不同传记文本传递出的信息具有差异性,将同一传主多个传记文本进行对读,可以更为全面理解传主及传记文体间的复杂关系。

A biography presents the protagonist's life history,and also carries the writer's understanding,emotions and memories of the protagonist.As a form of genology,biographies of the same protagonist constantly transform and blend among different biographical stylistics,and then form a complicated relationship of mutual permeation.The choice of biographic stylistics is closely related to the writer's identity,status,personal preferences,specialties,and life needs.At present,we have collected over 60 biographies of Wang Shizhen,in which different stylistics of family biography,historical biography,poetic biography,dramatic biography and image biography have permeated and blended with each other.Biographic writing is a process to understand and reconstruct the protagonist from the writer's personal perspective.The writer's personalized understanding of the protagonist and different narrative modes of stylistics participate in the reconstruction of the history and would portray different images of the protagonist.The use of biographic stylistics mainly depends on the writer's understanding of the protagonist and the proficiency in biographic stylistics.The information conveyed by different biographical texts under different positions is different.Interpreting multiple biographical texts of the same protagonist can promote a more comprehensive understanding of the protagonist and the complicated relationship among biographies of various stylistics.
