李梦阳与郑岳关系考辨

An Analysis of the Relationship between Li Mengyang and Zheng Yue

李梦阳江西任职期间,因官员相互奏讦被下广信狱,布政使郑岳被弹劾通贿,亦身陷奏讦案中。历来各类文献对李梦阳与郑岳关系表述不一。经考证,李梦阳与江万实互相奏讦,郑岳欲平其理,李梦阳与郑岳生隙,朱宸濠趁机利用李梦阳打压郑岳,导致郑岳被削籍为民。李梦阳与郑岳并非一向不和,官方史传所载未必可信。

During Li Mengyang’s tenure in Jiangxi,he was arrested and incarcerated in Guangxin prison and Zheng Yue was also dismissed.The literature has different descriptions of the relationship between Li Mengyang and Zheng Yue.After textual research,Li Mengyang and Jiang Wanshi complained to each other,Zheng Yue wanted to coordinate the two parties,Li Mengyang and Zheng Yue had a conflict,Zhu Chenhao took the opportunity to suppress Zheng Yue and Zheng Yue was reduced to civilian status.Li Mengyang and Zheng Yue used to have a good relationship,and official history may not be credible.
