Review and Editing Strategies for Systematic Review and Meta-analysis Manuscripts—Literature Searching Methods

系统综述和Meta分析类论文具有高证据等级和高引用率,因此受到科技期刊的青睐,刊发量逐年上升。然而,在热度升高的同时文章的质量却有所下降,如何加强对这类文章的审查以及后期编辑,成为当前多数期刊面临的严峻问题。通过对这类来稿的常见错误进行分析总结,提出了文献检索环节审查应注意的要点,并有针对性地提出了相应的编辑策略,以期提醒编辑对这类论文的审查一定要更加严格,同时要求医学编辑自身也应当具备相关的知识,对可能出现的错误和问题有一定甄别能力。

Systematic review and meta-analysis papers are favored by sci-tech journals due to their high level of evidence and high citation rate,and the number of publications is increasing year by year.However,the quality of the articles has decreased with the increase in popularity,and how to strengthen the review of such articles and the later editing has become a serious problem facing most journals at present.By analyzing and summarizing the common errors of such contributions,this paper puts forward the key points that should be paid attention to in the review of literature searching and the corresponding editing strategy,in order to remind editors that the review of such papers must be more strict,medical editors should have relevant knowledge and ability to identify possible errors and problems.
