Objective To study the prevention and nursing of complications related to central venous catheter(PICC) implantation in cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. Methods From December 2019 to December 2020, a total of 110 patients with tumor chemotherapy in our hospital were randomly divided into control group(55 cases, the implementation of general nursing) and observation group(55 cases, the implementation of additional targeted nursing intervention). Results(1) The incidence of complications in 110 patients with tumor chemotherapy: Compared with the control group, the incidence of complications such as rash, dandruff, blister and tube blockage in the observation group was lower, with statistical difference between the two groups(P<0.05).(2) Comparison of satisfaction of 110 patients with tumor chemotherapy: Compared with the control group, the nursing satisfaction of patients with tumor chemotherapy in the observation group was higher, with statistical difference between the two groups(P<0.05).(3) Comparison of quality of life of 110 patients with tumor chemotherapy: Compared with the control group, the SF-36 score of patients with tumor chemotherapy in the observation group was higher, with statistical difference between the two groups(P<0.05). Conclusion Targeted nursing intervention is of great significance in preventing complications and improving nursing satisfaction.
