抗美援朝运动是建国初期规模最大、动员程度最深、涉及面最广的群众运动,在人力、物力、财力、精神上全力支持中国的抗美援朝战争,是我国取得抗美援朝战争胜利的重要保障。焦作地区人民在共产党政府的领导下,从城市到农村,从工厂到学校,各行各业都以空前高涨的爱国主义精神投入这场运动中,为抗美援朝胜利做出巨大贡献,同时巩固新生政权,促进国民经济恢复与发展。以史为鉴,焦作抗美援朝运动成功开展的经验与启示,对当今我国现代化建设仍有一定的借鉴意义。
