爱德华·布鲁诺半世纪以来在犹太圣地马萨达遗迹、非洲埃尔米纳城堡、印尼国家微缩景观公园、西双版纳傣族园、美国林肯故居等地开展研究,本书是布氏旅游人类学研究成果的集大成者。布氏采用建构主义阐述研究旅游叙事、不同意识形态下肯尼亚马赛族(Maasai)的旅游文化生产、美籍黑人和加纳人对旧埃尔米纳城堡(Elmina Castle)的认知差异、巴厘岛和旅游边界区、对比视角下的民族村及印度尼西亚的微缩景观公园等核心概念。

Over the last half century Edward Bruner has conducted research in the Jewish Holy Land of Masada,Elmina Castle in Africa,the National Miniature Landscape Park in Indonesia,the China’s Dai Garden in Xishuangbanna,Lincoln House in the United States amongst other places.This book is a representative work of his main academic thoughts.Bruner uses constructivism to study the core concepts of tourism narrative,tourism and cultural production of Kenyan Masai under different ideologies,cognitive difference the production of tourism cultures in the old Elmina Castle,Bali and tourism border areas,ethnic villages from a comparative perspective,and miniature landscape parks in Indonesia.
