现代派诗歌与非个人化理论

Modernist Poetry and Theory of Impersonality

作为现代派诗歌最核心的诗学原则,非个人化理论不仅在现代派时期产生不少争议,年轻一代诗人也对其进行审视与拷问,晚年的艾略特更是对非个人化理论进行了深刻而诚恳的反思。本文试图从非个人化的科学渊源、非个人化与情感表达及非个人化的诗学争议这三个方面对非个人化理论进行探讨,旨在厘清其诗学内涵及其存在的矛盾与症结。对非个人化理论进行诗学反观,有助于读者对现代派诗人的创新意识与诗歌传统之间的复杂关系进行重新认知,进而对现代派诗歌经典及其诗学原则进行相对客观的评价。

As the core tenet of modernist poetics,T.S.Eliot’s theory of impersonality has been questioned and interrogated by Eliot’s contemporaries as well as younger generations of poets.Even Eliot himself in his late years questioned its plausibility.This paper seeks to explore the theory in terms of science,emotion and the various other controversies aroused by the term,aiming to re-examine the relationship between innovation and tradition and further reevaluate the modernist canon in poetics.
