The Historical Experience of the Communist Party of China in Spreading Marxist Ideas in Shanghai University

20世纪20年代的上海大学是早期中国共产党传播马克思主义的重要阵地。这既与上海大学作为一所现代高等学府,是一个重要传播平台有关,也与早期中国共产党人齐聚上海大学,将传播马克思主义与解释中国革命现实问题相结合密切相关。他们充分运用教学阵地,第一次在高校课堂系统集中讲授传播马克思主义,通过上海大学丛书的出版,夏令讲习会的举行,报纸、期刊的创办,使马克思主义传播范围从高校延伸到社会,从大学生扩展到民众,从上海大学影响到全国,是中国共产党创办中国现代新型高等院校的最早实践,为马克思主义的早期中国化做出了历史贡献。

In the 1920s,Shanghai University was a major member of the early Communist Party of China(CPC)to spread Marxism,not only because Shanghai University was an excellent platform as a modern institution of higher education,but also because it is the place where the pioneering Chinese communists gathered to spread Marxism and explain the realities facing Chinese revolution.It was the first time that Marxism made its way to the classrooms of university,from the book series published by Shanghai University and its summer seminars,to the registration of newspapers,journals and magazines in this regard.As such,Marxism was spread from universities to its local communities,from college students to the general public,from Shanghai University to the entire country.It was the earliest practices for the CPC to establish a new type of higher education institution in China at that time,making historical contributions to the early localization of Marxism in China.
