To answer the question of"how to build a system of legal studies with Chinese characteristics",it is necessary to cultivate a sound academic environment.With regard to cultural ecology,the school of"universalism of western studies"generally believes that competition will lead to natural selection,and advocates comprehensive and in-depth study of the German and Japanese systems of criminal legal studies.On the other hand,the school of"Chinese characteristics"generally highlights"human selection and intervention"and doubts the"school of thought",thus opposing the transplantation of the German and Japanese criminal law knowledge discourse system.After nearly 20 years of practice,the Chinese criminal law academia has shaped an environment where schools of various levels and categories contend,which has greatly contributed to the prosperity of criminal law studies.Thus,we should reconsider China's problems with its national conditions to further sublimate this school of contention.
