河南许昌宋庄遗址发掘简报

Excavation at Songzhuang Site, Xuchang, Henan Province

为配合许昌市和协医院项目建设,河南省文物考古研究院分别于2018年和2020年对宋庄遗址进行了考古发掘,主要发现有仰韶文化、龙山文化、二里头文化和殷墟文化遗存,其中以仰韶文化遗存最为丰富。宋庄遗址的发掘为该区域中原文明化进程和早期夏文化研究提供了新材料。

Coordinating with the construction of Xuchang Hexie Hospital,archaeologists from Henan Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology conducted excavations at Songzhuang Site in 2018 and 2020 respectively,discovering remains and relics of Yangshao Culture period,Longshan Culture period,Erlitou Culture period and Yinxu Culture period.There are abundant remnants dating back to Yangshao Culture period.Archaeological discoveries made at Songzhuang Site this time will be further examined in researches on the civilizing process in the Central Plains as well as the culture of early Xia.
