“World Literature”Towards“Literary World”: Acceptance and Criticism of The World Republic of Letters

全球化时代的“世界文学”以一种更加多元的眼光看待世界各民族的文学实践。卡莎诺瓦的《文学世界共和国》将“世界文学”转变到“文学世界”,构建了一种全新的文学地理、政治、经济的运行机制。在西方中心主义文化的辐射下,中国的“世界文学”走向一条“本土化”与“全球化”相结合之路。《文学世界共和国》暗含西方权力话语,为当代文学的发展提出了挑战,也引起了对构建“文学共同体”的思考。

The“world literature”in the era of globalization looks at the literary practice of various nationalities from a more diverse perspective.Casanova’s The World Republic of Letters transformed“world literature”into“liter⁃ary world”,and constructed a new operating mechanism of literary geography,politics,and economics.The concept of“world literature”in the west is changing,while the process of“world literature”in China is moving towards a road of combining“localization”and“globalization”.The World Republic of Letters implies the discourse of western power,which challenges the development of contemporary literature and also provokes the reflective thoughts of con⁃structing a“literary community”.
