MEWS评估在普通病区中的应用

Application of MEWS assessment in general ward

目的探讨早期预警评分表(MEWS)评估在普通病区中的应用效果。方法2019年8月—2020年12月随机于兴国县人民医院普通病区中选取318例患者作为研究对象,按照住院顺序的先后分为常规组(n=159)与试验组(n=159),常规组患者常规监测生命体征,试验组患者应用MEWS评估。对比2组患者早期发现病情变化率、并发症发生率及住院日。结果与常规组相比,试验组患者早期发现病情变化率明显更高,并发症发生率明显更低,且平均住院日更短,差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论在普通病区中应用MEWS评估可取得较好的临床效果,通过密切监测患者体温、呼吸、意识、心率、收缩压等体征的变化情况,来准确评估病情发展,早期发现病情变化,进而可以及时施予对症治疗,提升治疗效果。

Objective To explore the application effect of mews in general ward.Methods A total of 318 patients were randomly selected from the general ward of our hospital from August 2019 to December 2020,and were divided into the conventional group(n=159)and the experimental group(n=159)according to the order of hospitalization.Patients in the conventional group were routinely monitored for vital signs,and patients in the experimental group were evaluated by MEWS.The rate of disease change,incidence of complications and hospitalization days of patients in early detection were compared between the two groups.Results Compared with the conventional group,the early detection rate of disease change in the experimental group was significantly higher,the incidence of complications was significantly lower,and the average hospital stay was shorter,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of mews in general ward can achieve good clinical effect.By closely monitoring the changes of body temperature,respiration,consciousness,heart rate,systolic blood pressure and other signs of patients,we can accurately assess the development of patients'condition.Early detection of the patient's condition changes,and then can be timely given symptomatic treatment.Improve the treatment effect and reduce the length of hospital stay.
