巴金“激流三部曲”对《红楼梦》创作的继承与突破

Inheritance and Breakthrough on The Dream of Red Mansions by Ba Jin’s “Torrent Trilogy”

巴金“激流三部曲”——《家》《春》《秋》是其反封建的战斗宣言,与清代曹雪芹长篇小说《红楼梦》有异曲同工之妙,在某种程度上是20世纪初中国现实版的《红楼梦》。巴金从思想主题、结构设计、情节设置、人物塑造、斗争方式等诸多方面借鉴了《红楼梦》的创作,不仅形似“红楼”,而且神亦似“红楼”,可谓形神兼备。更为值得瞩目的是,“激流三部曲”一方面袭用《红楼梦》的创作手法;另一方面却站在时代的高度,实现了理想与实践的统一,这是对《红楼梦》的超越。

Ba Jin’s“torrent trilogy”—Family,Spring and Autumn–is viewed as his anti-feudal declaration of war.The torrent trilogy,Ba Jin’s masterpieces,are similar to Cao Xueqin’s A Dream of Red Mansions in the Qing dynasty,in a way a realistic version of the China in the early 20th century.Ba Jin draws many lessons from the creation of A Dream of Red Mansions from many aspects,such as ideological theme,structural design,plot setting,characterization and fighting style,obtaining both form similarity and spirit similarity in most cases.What is more remarkable is that the“torrent trilogy”on the one hand takes over the writing techniques in A Dream of Red Mansions;on the other hand,it realized the unity of ideal and practice due to being on the height of the times,which is the transcendence of A Dream of Red Mansions.
