基于文化自信背景下的大学英语教学

College English Teaching Based on Cultural Self-confidence

长期以来,传统的大学英语教学,教师主要讲解英语语言习惯和对西方文化的了解和应用,师生不仅会忽略对中国优秀传统文化的渗透和传承,而且会影响学生的爱国情感,也会误导学生对社会主义核心价值观的正确形成。最近几年,基于对中国传统文化的自信,大学英语教师开始不断探讨,在英语课堂内如何更有效地融入中华传统文化教育,在英语环境下如何潜移默化地帮助学生树立正确的思想意识。因此,该文通过了解英语课堂内对中国文化的融入程度,基于文化自信的背景,从师生不同的角度来分析,在英语课堂内如何传承中国文化、弘扬中国精神,使英语教师进一步加深对民族文化的自豪感,使学生进一步加强对社会主义核心价值观的普遍共识和价值认同。

For a long time,in traditional college English teaching,teachers mainly explain English language habits and their understanding and application of western culture.Teachers and students will not only ignore the infiltration and inheritance of Chinese excellent traditional culture,but also affect students’patriotic feelings and mislead students to correctly form the core values of socialism.In recent years,based on their confidence in Chinese traditional culture,College English teachers began to explore how to integrate Chinese traditional culture education more effectively in the English classroom and how to imperceptibly help students establish correct ideology in the English environment.Therefore,by understanding the degree of integration of Chinese culture in English classroom,based on the background of cultural self-confidence,this paper analyzes from different angles of teachers and students how to inherit Chinese culture and carry forward Chinese spirit in English classroom,so as to make English teachers further deepen their pride in national culture,enable students to further strengthen the general consensus and value recognition of socialist core values.
