The Historical Role of the Three Decades of Socialist Revolution and Construction in Reform and Opening-Up

中国共产党领导人民进行社会主义建设,有改革开放前和改革开放后两个历史时期,这两个历史时期虽然各具鲜明特点,但并不是彼此割裂的,存在着一种继承与发展的关系。社会主义革命和建设三十年为改革开放时期奠定重要基础,积累了重要的思想、物质、制度条件;在社会主义建设探索方面提供了正反两方面的经验启示;在国内积聚了民心力量、在外交上争取了有利于建设的国际和平环境。改革开放时期正是在社会主义革命和建设时期创造的有利条件下推进中国特色社会主义伟大事业不断前进。

Of Chinese People’s socialist construction led by the CPC,there are two historical periods,before and after reform and opening-up.Although these two historical periods have distinct characteristics,they are not separated from each other,and there is a relationship of inheritance and development.The three decades of socialist revolution and construction have laid an important foundation for the period of reform and opening-up,and accumulated important ideological,material and institutional conditions.It provides positive and negative experience and enlightenment in the exploration of socialist construction.It has gained popular support at home,and diplomatically,earned a peaceful international environment conducive to the construction.In the period of reform and opening-up,it is under the favorable conditions created during the period of socialist revolution and construction that we continue to advance the great cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
