从国家级一流课程建设看英语学科的课程改革

A Study of the Curriculum Reform in English Language and Literature:From the Perspective of NTUC

教育部2019年启动的本科课程建设“双万计划”旨在打造中国大学的一流课程,建设中国一流的大学教育。在2019年的评选中,5000余门经过激烈竞争被认定为国家级一流课程。新一轮国家级一流课程评选已于不久前启动,预计竞争会比上一轮更加激烈。但是,国家级一流课程不仅代表荣誉,它也是高校教育教学改革的重要组成部分,是“新文科”和“六卓越一拔尖”计划的重要支撑。它必将带动中国高校课程在内容上和体系上的重组和升级。本文将以国家级一流课程“英语诗歌赏析:社会历史视角”为例,探讨一流课程的理念、标准和建设路径。

The undergraduate course development plan started by MOE in 2019,dubbed“Double Ten Thousand Plan”,aims to build China’s top-rate undergraduate courses and college education.In the assessment conducted in 2019,five thousand courses won in the competition and were awarded the title of National Top-Rate Undergraduate Courses(NTUC).In the new round of assessment started not long ago,the competition will be even more fierce.However,the NTUC is not just an honor for the best courses,it is also an important part of China’s higher education reform,and a crucial foundation for the“New Liberal Arts”and the“Six Excellences and One Peak”initiatives.It will surely bring about the reorganization and upgrading of Chinese university curricula in terms of content and system.This article takes one NTUC course“English Poetry Reading:Social Historical Perspectives”as an example to demonstrate the idea,criteria and development path of NTUC.
