As literary sketches,You Yang Za Zu records many stories related to Buddhists from the perspective of recording“mystery”.Some Buddhists with strange art can create mysteries,and other psychic Buddhists can prove mysteries.Duan Chengshi illustrated the mysteries with the historical and biographical writing,which made the Buddhists'deeds bizarre but their identity detailed,showing the various scenes of Buddhists from different social strata and different sects in the Tang Dynasty.
