Wild Flowers at the Vermillion Bridge:On the Historical Recount and Female Generational Writing in The Vermillion Bird by Ge Liang

葛亮在《朱雀》中以代际的书写方式,通过对三代女性命运浮沉的描摹,勾勒出中国近代女性的命运发展路径,他将人物再度还原到历史的大背景中,并以此将在大历史风云掩藏之下的隐晦的女性历史拉出地表。文章拟从历史重述这一角度着手,分析《朱雀》中女性代际的书写,以及在此种书写之下三代女性不同的生存境遇与命运浮沉,进一步探讨作者以此重构真实女性历史的文化自觉。

By way of generational writing in The Vermillion Bird,Ge Liang,through his depiction of three generations of women,outlines the path of development in their fate for the Chinese women in modern China by returning the characters to the historical context and,based on that,pulling the women hidden in the great clouds of history from out of the ground.This article intends to analyze the generational writing of women in The Vermillion Bird as well as their different living environment and vicissitudes from the angle of historical recount,thereby further exploring how the author reconstructs the cultural self-consciousness of authentic women in history.
