摘要
创办于1912年的江苏省新苏师范学校,将中国传统“师道”文化和近现代职业教育思想融会贯通,办学成绩突出,为苏州教育做出了重要贡献。21世纪初,随着我国对小学师资要求的提高,学校步入由“三级”转向“二级”师范的进程。2003年学校终止中师办学,并入苏州市职业大学人文与基础教育学院,在苏州市职业大学的办学中得以延续。回眸百年,研究其办学精神,对深化苏州乃至全国的基础教育改革具有实际意义。
Initiated in 1912,Jiangsu Xinsu Normal School contributed significantly to Suzhou’s education for the imparting of traditional Chinese way of teaching into modern vocational education and its noteworthy achievements in schooling.At the turn of 21st century,as the qualification of primary school teachers was uplifted,the school began to its shift from“Level-3”to“Level-2”teacher education.It turned out that the school concluded its cultivation of middle school teachers in 2003 and merged into School of Humanities and Basic Education,Suzhou Vocational University.And thus its school history continues for the sake of its integration with the latter.Reflecting on the last one hundred years,we find that the research into its schooling spirit is of practical significance to deepening education reforms of basic education i n Suzhou or even across the country.
