Ideological and Political Education in the Open University in the New Era:Missions,Challenges and Paths

思想政治教育是从国家战略层面落实立德树人任务的关键环节,开放大学是我国高等教育的重要组成部分,肩负为中国特色社会主义培养合格建设者和可靠接班人之责。围绕开放大学新时代责任与使命,根据党和国家对高校思政教育工作的要求,阐述开放大学新时代思政教育的责任和使命,逐一梳理开放大学思政教育在新时代所面临的若干现实挑战,并就如何理性应对挑战,为教育对象提供优质、均等和充足的思政教育提出建设性路径建议。

Ideological and political education is the key link in carrying out the task of building morality education and talent cultivation from the national strategic level.The Open University is an important part of China’s higher education,and bears the responsibility of cultivating qualified builders and reliable successors for socialism with Chinese characteristics.Based on the responsibility and mission of the Open University in the new era and the requirements of the Party and the state for ideological and political education in universities,this paper elaborates the responsibility and mission of the Open University in the new era,analyzes some practical challenges faced by the ideological and political education in the new era,and constructively proposes how to rationally respond to the challenges and provide high-quality,equal and sufficient ideological and political education for the education objects.
