《昔昔春秋》是日本江户中期名儒中井履轩根据中日民间传说改编而成的汉文小说。其在“追随汉本土文学”的过程中,凸显了“中体日用”的特征以中国经注的体制,重构民族故事;以中国文史的内容,敷衍遗逸意蕴;以中国儒学的价值,规讽当世教化。该文不惟是中井履轩“克肖盲史”的戏编和奇构,也是其独特的知性转换的文学呈现,更是日本汉文学史上别具“中国特色”的妙品。

Xi Xi Chun Qiu is a Chinese novel written by Riken Nakai(1732-1817),a famous confucianist in the middle of Edo Period in ancient Japan.It is based on Japanese and Chinese's myths.In the process of imitating and learning ancient Chinese literature,this story has an obvious feature of“Chinese Classicals as the Essence and Traditional Japanese Literary Works for Its Utility”.It is mainly manifested in three aspects:reconstructing Japanese native legends with the style of Chinese classics and their annotations,enriching the meaning of Japanese legends with the content of Chinese literature and historical works and admonishing social ethics with the value of Chinese Confucianism.In a word,Xi Xi Chun Qiu is not only a dramatic and ingenious novels like Zuo Zhuan,but also a literary presentation of Riken Nakai's intellectual transformation,which can be called a unique masterpiece in the history of Chinese literature in Japan.
